The Knapp Ranch Baseball program has been operating at Knapp Ranch Park, a Los Angeles City Department of Recreation park, since 1970.  Knapp Ranch Baseball is the largest baseball program within the Los Angeles City Department of Recreation and Parks.  It is a volunteer-run organization providing boys and girls with the opportunity to play baseball and enjoy the camaraderie of team sports.  Our program is founded on the principle "Character Counts."  Our Knapp Ranch Board members and coaches emphasize good sportsmanship on the field and in the stands.  We believe that team sports can provide children with the opportunity to learn self-control, teamwork, fair play, and other life skills in addition to baseball. 
In addition to the above, we are proud of our beautiful park. 

The Board of Directors of Knapp Ranch Baseball is a volunteer organization that manages administers, and operates the baseball program at Knapp Ranch Park for the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. The Board consists of up to 15 members.
Each division (T-Ball, Coach Pitch, etc.) has a Division Representative who is a member of the Knapp Ranch Board. The Division Representative duties include the selection of coaches, Player Evaluation coordination, organization of division player draft, compilation of division team standings, as well as many other day-to-day responsibilities.
All Knapp Ranch Board officers are elected for a term of one year. Elections are conducted at the end of each season. The elected officers then serve for the following year. Duty positions are determined at the start of each year.
Changes in Board membership are made by an election of the current Board of Directors. If an individual wishes to serve on the Board, they must be presented by a current member as a candidate for membership to the Knapp Ranch Baseball Board of Directors.
